Wasiat Writing

A Wasiat is a declaration of a person made during his life time
with respect to his property or beneficial interests thereof, to be
carried out for the purposes of charity or for any other purposes
permissible by Islamic Law, after his death.

Distribution of Assets Without

A Wasiat

Without a Wasiat, the assets of Muslims will be divided rigidly amongst their heirs in accordance with the Faraid, i.e. the Islamic law of inheritance.

Benefit of Writing a Wasiat

Islam permits a Muslim to bequeath one-third of his/her assets through a Wasiat to the loved ones who are not entitled under Faraid, even if they are not Muslims, or for charitable purposes in accordance with Syariah.
